Who has undergone age regression hypnosis?
For any sort of purpose, but especially to channel their past lives? I know there are so-called "professional" hypnotherapists who charge a hefty amount for a half-hour session, but if you were to "try this at home" (as all warnings advise against), what would be the chance of success?
And, more importantly, has anyone here done this in order to get in touch with – not *their* past/childhood – but past lives? I’m awfully curious.
Jo – interesting! – how so, (if you wouldn’t mind sharing?)
I wanted to visit a past life regression therapist myself but financy didn’t allow me. i tried ”hypnotising” myself – relaxing, concentrating .. at home with and without the aid of a helping instructions in a book called through time into healing by DR Brian Weiss, but it didn’t work.
i’ve read several books on this therapy by three different authors and the thing i learned from there is that the effects might be both positive or negative. it doesn’t work for all people. it’s a very sensitive activity and lot of practise/professionalism should be involved.
i didn’t understand what the person before me meant by .. was it.. creating false past life memories. that’s contradictory. the concept ”memories” isn’t the main thing, it’s what you experience. it can be imagination, past (life) memory, a glipse into the future, meeting with other souls/spirits/jesus etc. now i’m going little off topic..
i have a close friend who has visions almost on a daily basis, which include also past life memories. he’s really allowing something to easily pass through him, he’s giving some ”higher powers” to take the ”responsibility” of himself. he ignores or isn’t affected by lot of things that other people would get affected but at the same time he pays attention to such other details that people would not normally pay any attention to. sometimes these small things are really silly to think about.
he got some visions for us so that i would also start having them and he would have more of them. these are: don’t use your brain as a storage, but as a receiver. and another thing is to start thinking out of the box. if you see a cat, imagine that’s someone’s angel waiting for the host that is protected by this cat etc…
stuff like that.
How effective is Hypnotherapy?
| Hypnotherapists claim that they can help you solve any problem. But, of course, they could be just trying to make as much money as possible. I have anxiety issues, and was considering going to a hypnotherapist. I told a friend of mine about this, and he said that it will be a waste of time, and that I am better off just going to a regular psychotherapist. I just don’t know. I mean……….I am not expecting hypnotherapy to be a magical solution to all of my problems.
Hypnotherapy works. More specifically, it worked for me. My story (in brief): Years ago I developed a phobia about driving over high bridges. One in particular. I started having a hard time driving my car over this long bridge and soon I began to dread doing so. That’s when I turned to a therapist who uses hypnosis and sure enough, after 3 sessions I no longer felt terrified in the bridge situation. I deliberately tried to “feel” something as I got on the bridge. But nothing happened. No adverse reaction. |

| To be clear: success depends largely on your openness to the treatment. You need to be open to suggestion and this means trusting the hypnotherapist. I interviewed 2 before selecting the one I felt comfortable with. It helps if you are a strong visualizer. What is happening is that the suggestions are made to your subconscious and your conscious mind sort of steps out of the way to let this happen. You do not go into a mindless trance. You are aware of what is happening. You just don’t resist it. I would add that the therapist is not going to take over your mind and make you do crazy things.
Go look around, find a good therapist and give it a try. Good luck. |

does hypnoses really workfor all aspects they claim?
hypnotherapists claim that they can solve lot of problems via hypnosis e.g curing cancer, aleviating pain, reducing weight, earning money even breast and penis enlargement. They do this just by listining to tapes Is it true fake?
Not all of those claims, not. But it does have some very useful applications. It does work with pain, to a certain degree. Many doctors in pain clinics use it as well as having people do a form of self hypnosis to deal with chronic, debilitating pain. It has other uses as well, such as stop smoking. But results vary from person to person as to how well it works.
I have failed to be hypnotised on 3 occasions, is it a waste of money to try again. Tomocon?
Three different hypnotherapists in different years. The problem I was treated for has never altered one iota.
Some people cannot be hypnotised, It is likely that you are one of them. In which case I would save your money and look for alternative solutions.
are there people in california Sacramento that teach telekinesis?
Are there people not hypnotherapists but people that can help me with my telekinesis powers.Like people that can do it too or can give me lessons. I WANT LESSONS SACRAMENTO OR YUBA-CITY
Probably, but that’s a waste of money, since they’re scam artists. Here’s the problem – no one has EVER been able to prove that telekinesis exists. No one ever. If it did exist, and someone could do it, it would be very very easy to show. No one would be able to deny it. All of a sudden real scientists would be studying it. There’d be a telekinesis dept at Harvard, NSF funding for telekinesis research, and the person who proved it really worked would have won a Nobel Prize and a million bucks from this guy http://www.randi.org . They wouldn’t need to charge you a few hundred bucks an hour to teach you how to do it – they’d be multi-millionaires. And just think of what that power could do for the world! It could solve our energy problems! Why would they be so selfish as it sit back and say, ‘no, I’d rather just charge people to teach it to them without ever, say, proving I could actually do it and possibly save the world’. Because they can’t do it. Many have claimed they can – even people on here – and not a single one has ever proved it, or ever will.
Short answer, no, there’s no one anywhere that can actually teach you how to do telekinesis, because it would have to exist first.
I have a psychology degree and want to become a hypnotherapist, Im 21 and cant get on the course until im 25..
what do people who are fully trained hypnotherapists usually do in the mean time?
I’m not sure but I think it’s some psychology diploma (in the relevant field).
If not, there are stuff on Neuro Linguistic Programming that may help you in the future
Does hypnotherapy really work?
I went to 2 hypnotherapists about my problems, and none of it worked. I didn’t feel any different. They just ask me to lie down and relax, Then start talking to my subconscious mind. I’m am aware and can hear every word there saying. Also my subconscious can reject anything it doesn’t agree with. The hypnotherapist give ur subconscious suggestions which u can ignore anyway if u want. I don’t think its a powerful as people make it out to be. I mean anyone can just lay down and have someone talk to them and put some suggestions in there head which they can ignore if they want anyway.
Well miss Vixen (love your username) I agree with you to a point.Hypnotherapy does not work for me either. Here’s the deal some people are more susceptible to hypnosis than others and if your not then its not going to work.Your subconscious mind takes in everything 24/7 that your 5 senses( feel, taste, smell, hear and see)experience.
It never shuts off.Your conscious mind only operates when you call upon it,which is the entire time you are awake. Some of us have such a strong consciousness that it is impossible for us to relax,or detach from that consciousness long enough to be hypnotized even if we are consciously willing to be.I personally feel its a blessing that my consciousness
is impenetrable and will not allow me to slip into a state that someone can have access to my subconsciousness without my senses demanding conscious awareness.
I want to use covert Hypnosis techniques used by David X. Do they work?
If so does he have a book and Do you know any other hypnotherapists that are good for Nlp and covert hypnosis. Thanks
I am not asking for your opinions but an answer for the question. It’s how yahoo questions work. It not a religious organisation.
That’s seriously morally questionable.
To All Hypnotherapists?
Have any of you had practiced GUIDED AFFECTIVE IMAGERY / SYMBOLDRAMA ?
How have you found the results?
Any links/sites/books etc?
Thank you
Pam
I taylor every Hypnosis Session, just for that Client. The answer is…yes, I use:
1.Guided Imagery
2.Kenistetic Imagery
3.Sence of Smell also helps.
4.Visualization, depending on the type of person.
Some people are more of the hearing type, than of the visual type, as you know.
Depends on what you are treating them PT. for.
