Creative Scripts for Hypnotherapy

This excellent reference book for psychotherapists and hypnotherapists offers readers actual scripts and “suggestive speeches” that can be used in a variety of therapeutic situations. Marlene E. Hunter has developed these scripts during her 25 years of practice as a family physician and clinical hypnotherapist in West Vancouver, Canada. She is the past president of the Canadian Society of Clinical Hypnosis, as well as the author of PSYCHE YOURSELF IN, a hypnosis book for general readership. CREATIVE SCRIPTS FOR HYPNOTHERAPY covers a myriad of situations and ailments that a practicing hypnotherapst would encounter in daily practice. Scripts for habit disorders, pain relief, and sexual difficulties are included, to mention a small sample. Since Hunter is a family physician, her experience enables her to include an entire section devoted to childhood problems such as night terrors and learning disabilities. This book is excellently organized and includes the author’s insightful comments alongside each script. Anticipating the working therapist’s needs, ample space is left on the page so each reader can alter and edit each script to fit his or her style of working. Hunter includes case histories and other anecdotal information to assist the reader in choosing the best script for a patient’s individual needs.
What Is A Hypnosis Script? Opinions By Eddini
A Hypnosis Script is basically something a hypnotist uses to read off of to put someone into a Hypnotis State. I have mixed views on them NOT that they are “Bad”, but I’ll tell you what I think the ups and downs are.

In this innovative and informative revision of their classic text, Havens and Walters provide a clear description of the hypnotic experience and a compelling explanation of its therapeutic potential within the clinical setting. The poetic and metaphorical communication patterns integrated into this hypnotic technique are designed to create therapeutic change efficiently and effectively while providing a healing relationship within which deeper personal meanings may be explored. Verbatim sample transcripts of various induction and therapeutic suggestion procedures offer an exhaustive range of possible applications.
This revised edition incorporates recent research and writings on the role of unconscious processes, wellness, and positive psychology along with new metaphor scripts for problems and disorders not included in the first edition. It also includes specific guidelines for creating one’s own hypnotherapeutic inductions and metaphors, as well as a detailed explanation of the therapeutically efficient and effective Diagnostic Trance process.
Scripts & Strategies in Hypnotherapy With Children

Clearly and enthusiastically presented, this book provides a step-by-step approach to incorporating hypnotherapeutic scripts and strategies for working with a wide spectrum of challenges faced by young people ages 6 to 16. The author’s realistic perspective takes into account the variety of thinking styles represented by the population we call “young people,” emphasizing that chronological age does not always match a client’s presentation. Completely contemporary, many of the scripts use metaphors that are especially meaningful in the world of young people, including computers, iPods, and Play Stations.
Hypnotherapy is an effective and expedient approach for working with children in part because young people tend to be open to it. As the author points out: “Children are accustomed to using their imagination they live in it on a daily basis.” Thus, suggestions to visualize images or colors or to make characters bigger or smaller and so forth are easily accepted. By the same token, a
How can I hypnotize someone for fun?
I want to know how to hypnotize someone for fun e.g. get them to bark like a dog etc. If anyone knows of any scripts that can teach me that’s great – I already know the basics i just need to have a script.
I do not want people to tell me to "Google it"
I do not want hypnotherapy scripts
I think your too young to be on here in the first place, and definitely too young to be delving into hypnotism. Hypnotism is serious business, it doesn’t just give you the ability to make someone do something humorous like making them bark like a dog, if used properly it delves into the subconscience and gives you control over the person, it’s very powerful and i think it shouldn’t be used.
