Is hypnotherapy an efficient and successful career?
I like the fact that it deals with entering your unconcious mind and placing new and better ideas for better living. I want to be a certified clinical hypnotherapist for 2 reasons mainly. 1- to be able to apply hypnotherapy to the areas that need improvement in my life and 2- to help my family and friends get over experiences and mental barriers that stop them from acquiring their full potential.
Now, my question also extends to where can I become a certified hypnotherapist. I’ve been thinking of taking Steve G. Jones’ classes online. Also, can hypnotherapy be a successful career to to be financially happy?
In all honesty, you’re better off becoming a clinical Psychologist in cognitive behavioral therapy. Most psychoanalytic practices (including hypnosis) are becoming less and less respected by both the public and the APA/CPA. Job options, if any, would be very limited.
