Hypnosis for peace

For example, if a person who was born in Russia and has emigrated to England when he was about 6 years of age receives a hypnotism session with his therapist who speaks English only, would he be hypnotised by his therapist? Since all the suggestions are practically given in English, I am not certain if he would truly be hypnotised. Can someone please clarify?

Most people have a tendency to think/subvocalise in a certain language, even if multilingual, and that language is the one best used.
