At a conference a hypnotist was there and I was was one of 20 volunteers to be hypnotised. ?
About 20 minutes into the hypnotist saying relax, imagine your on vacation, etc, the assistant asked me and another volunteer to leave and return to the audience. So I did and I didn’t notice anything. The audience that remained followed and did all kinds of silly things like dancing in front of the audience at the mention of the word Chicago, etc. The event did not phase me, but it appeared to effect others. Why?
not every1 can be hypnotised.u have to want to be,u have to believe 100% that u will be,and u have to have the sort of underlying personality that u would do silly things in public,or u may be longing to do silly things in public as ur usual life is so buttoned up.if u are not willing to be hypnotised,or willing to do silly things onstage,it just wont work.ive tried to be hypnotised to improve my grades,but it never worked.i could not be put under,probably because even tho i was willing to try,i kept thinking "this wont work,this is stupid."so,it never worked for me.
Well, if it’s at a conference like that where it’s mostly for entertainment, the hypnotists have to be fluent and very fast, and if they notice someone coming out of the trance, they have to send them back instead of trying to get them back under.
