How can I become a hypnotist?
What training would I need how long does it take to become one? Or do you believe that they just use paid actors on stage?
it takes a few months for training. but it is an all day thing. i checked into this once, but i didnt have the time to commit to it. maybe later in life. that is for therputic though, but i would think the same rules apply. do a search for hypnotisim, there are actually several clinics that offer training. i have one here in the town i live in, in michigan.

See, there are two types of hypnotist. There are hypnotist-therapists who help people with things like diets and smoking, and they are legitimate and quite effective. Then there are the stage performers.
The stage performers probably do the same sort of hypnotic induction as the therapists, but they’re doing it to entertain rather than to improve someone’s life. They’re not in great demand, in part because there’s a lot that can go wrong with such an act (from as simple as a subject who’s not susceptible to being hypnotized to actual harm caused by a clumsy post-hypnotic suggestion).
