Hypnosis for peace

i need to forget some people i had 5 friends die on me this year and the death of a family member 8 years ago still driving me crazy is there a way to repress these memories so i can go on living my life without having to remember certain things can’t a hypnotists repress my memory or or block certain people from my mind ?

Even if this could be done, I believe most therapists of any merit would have ethical problems with this.
I would seek out a qualified psychotherapist and psychiatrist to help you deal with the emotional stress these horrible events have triggered.
